‘Halcyon.’ meaning: a period of time in the past that was idyllically happy and peaceful, the collection of seemingly unrelated things, ‘Halcyon.’ was made with nostalgia and longing in mind.
The most time consuming piece by Metal Fairy Wings, ‘Halcyon.’ is a beautiful, whimsically cluttered piece, consisting only of shades of pink.
'Halcyon.’ holds a magical composition of candles, spirals, flowers, stars, sparkles, a key, a skull, and so much more: only discovered when truly admiring it.
With many shapes of nature, 'Halcyon.' hints at the yearning for a long forgotten time, in nature.
Created with the intention of being a collection of magical thoughts, ‘Halcyon.’ is a mess of the mind. The feeling of a fond memory.
The painting is textured, 3D with spikes, sparkles and stars, under the paint. These can only be seen from certain angles, and are best appreciated in person.
Painted on a recycled canvas, with acrylic paint. Painting took roughly 8 months.

Shipping should take roughly 3-5 business days, not including time to process and prepare the order. However, this will depend on your location. These posters are delicate, although they are gloss laminated and are wipeable, they must be handled with care to retain the original standard, unless you’d like to just love them and let the natural wear happen! I respect either choice!
