Collection: Lambent light.

"Vinca.", "Velvet Night." & "Spurious Shamrock.".

A trio of paintings, created to be forever intertwined. They all inspired each other. And they all exist together, regardless of their location. Each depicting glowing flowers, in a magical, darker world. Swirls and spirals of nature, present in each, and the luminescence of the flowers, casting a whimsical light over the whole piece.

Each painting, 1: "Vinca." , 2: "Velvet Night." & 3: "Spurious Shamrock" were created in succession of each other.

"Vinca." aptly named after the Vinca flower, with beautiful periwinkle petals, much like misty purple-blue background of Vinca's art. The flower twists outwards from its centre, just like the spirals in "Vinca.".

"Velvet Night. "The name coming from the Velvet Night variant of the heather shrub. A stunning plant with deep red, bell shaped flowers and rich mossy green leaves. The colours and shapes, all mirroring the "Velvet Night" art.

The name "Spurious Shamrock" stems from the plant: purple Shamrock, sometimes labelled: "false Shamrock", and spurious meaning false. The leaves of the purple Shamrock are a gorgeous rich red-purple, just like the background of "Spurious Shamrock.".
